After dating songwriter Derrick Milano for almost a year, the "Seen Her" rapper has proposed to him. Derrick proposed to Chyna at Howard University's homecoming event, popularly known as Yardfest, on October 18 in front of a crowd of students cheering them on.

In a video posted on X, formerly Twitter, Derrick is shown dropping down on one knee in front of Chyna (real name Angela White) with a ring box and asking, "Will you marry me?" Chyna appeared stunned by the question, but instantly kissed and hugged Derrick before he placed the ring on her finger.
Derrick then repeated the question, "Angela, will you marry me?" and eagerly tells the audience, "She said 'Yes!'"
Derrick also expressed his joy on Instagram, uploading photographs of the two admiring the ring in his Stories, as well as many videos of the moment.
This is Chyna's third engagement; she was previously engaged to Tyga, with whom she has 11-year-old son King Cairo, and Rob Kardashian, with whom she has a 7-year-old daughter Dream.
Chyna and Derrick initially revealed their relationship in September 2023, when she posted a selfie of the two on Instagram with a heart and prayer hands emoji in the caption. When she shared an anniversary tribute to the Grammy winner in May 2023, the reality star revealed that the couple had been dating since then.
"Happy one-year anniversary, @derrickmilano," she posted in May 2024, following a montage of the two during the year. "I'm reflecting on a year of pure enchantment and delight with you, my sweet Derrick. Your love, support, and friendship have infused my life with light and warmth."
The 36-year-old praised Derrick for "showing me the true meaning of love."
"Here's to countless more years of love and togetherness," the actress said. "I cherish you always."
Derrick, unwilling to be outdone, sent his own statement to Chyna, saying, "I found balance, happiness, and GOD when I met you, and I can't thank you enough for helping me grow as not only your man, but a man who genuinely loves his woman."
"From our very first date to even breakfast this morning, it still feels surreal that I found my person & GOD placed us with one another," according to him. "One year down and an infinity to go."
